Method to catalog our test tiles:
JS = John's Satin 2 (name of glaze recipe)
010= Test tile number
Clay Body: Porcelain
Firing Temperature: Cone 6, 2165 degrees F
Firing Atmosphere: Oxidation
Firing Mode: Skutt Electric Kiln, Medium Speed*
Glaze Specific Density: 1.40
A glaze created with John's Satin 2 base recipe. Bottom layer has 2% of Mason Stain 6404 Vanadium added to the recipe whilst top layer has 2% of Mason Stain 6032 Coral. Love this combination!
